On our visits to each zoo, we will be collecting lots of interesting information about the animals, plus you can read our zoo reviews and see just what we thought of the zoo and the animals, if they were good we will say so, if they were not good we will also say so.

Here is a little snippet of our American Bald Eagle, what a fabulous bird, he is so good looking.

Eagles birds nest measures approx 2ft by 5ft, to accommodate their wingspan of 6ft plus, so they need plenty of room, especially when the young eaglet's hatch.

When in flight, this magnificent bird can reach speeds of up to 65 miles per hour.

We have some great zoo videos, like the Jaguar Cats attacking a pigeon and the Sumatran Tiger quietly growling, the tiger was fantastic, we were so close to him it was amazing.

As well as visiting the Zoos in England, we are also going to the Aquariums in England, this fabulous photograph was taken at Southend Sea life Aquarium, what a great place.

The latest additions to our site are Ocean Creatures and River Animals, we are working hard adding lots of videos and some great information.

I love the way aquariums are built so you can watch the underwater life, it is so relaxing.

Ocean Creatures - visit our Moon Jellyfish to see a relaxing video of the jellies. The jellies have no heart, bones or brain and are made up of mostly water, but they still have the ability to sting, that is fascinating.

River Animals - visit our Cute Otters they were having dinner when we got there just in time to take some cute photographs.

KJW is a fabulous 'Wildlife Photographer', you can see some of his detailed photographs of wild animals which were taken using a Canon 40D Camera, not only does he take great photographs, he cuts his own mounts which make the pictures look fantastic.

We are currently setting up a photography page where you can find some of KJ's fabulous detailed photographs.

JanD - as an 'Artist', I will be using some of the animal pictures that KJ has taken at the Zoos in England and turning them into 'Artwork' using different mediums.

This picture of a Lynx Cat in color pencil is very big, you can read about it on the 'Cool Drawings' page.

The original photograph I used for drawing the Lynx Cat was one of mine, taken on my small camera at Paradise Wildlife Park in Hertfordshire. You can also see another color pencil drawing of a Meerkat taken at the same zoo.

If you are looking for a great day out or a fantastic weekend away, why not take the family to the zoo. We always grab our tent and have some brilliant weekends away, visiting the Zoos in England, it is a cheap weekend and so much fun.
